How we handle your information when you visit Academic Mentor Hub or ask us for academic help.

Last updated: 14 October 2026

1. Who we are

Academic Mentor Hub provides academic help through www.academicmentorhub.com. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Academic Mentor Hub, which is responsible for deciding how information submitted to this website is used.

For privacy questions or requests, email info@academicmentorhub.com or call +44 7366 319462.

2. Information we collect

  • Enquiry details: your name, email address, selected service and message. These are required to submit our form. Your phone or WhatsApp number, subject or course and deadline are optional.
  • Correspondence: messages and any documents you choose to send by email or WhatsApp after contacting us.
  • Technical information: our hosting and external service providers may receive your IP address, browser information, requested pages and connection logs when delivering or protecting their services.

The enquiry form does not accept file uploads or collect payment card details. Please do not include passwords, identification documents, health information or identifiable research participant data. Remove unnecessary personal information from academic documents before sharing them.

3. How and why we use information

We use your details to answer your enquiry, discuss your requirements, prepare a quote, arrange requested academic help and maintain relevant correspondence. We also use information where needed to prevent misuse, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal obligations.

Where UK or European data protection law applies, the bases for these uses are:

  • Steps towards a contract or performance of a contract: preparing requested quotes and arranging or delivering agreed services.
  • Legitimate interests: responding to general questions, keeping necessary business records and protecting communications and services from misuse, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligations: retaining or disclosing records where applicable law requires it.
  • Consent: where separately requested for an optional purpose. You can withdraw it by contacting us, without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

The form acknowledgement allows us to contact you about your enquiry. It does not subscribe you to marketing emails. This website does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, or carry out profiling for such decisions.

4. Who receives information

Information is shared as needed with people handling your enquiry or agreed service and the providers used to operate the website and communications:

  • FormSubmit: processes form submissions and forwards them to our designated Gmail enquiry inbox. Its service may include spam prevention and a submission archive. See FormSubmit’s privacy information.
  • Google: provides Gmail for the enquiry inbox and Google Fonts for website typography. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • WhatsApp: processes messages when you choose to use our WhatsApp links. See WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy.
  • Website hosting providers: deliver the pages and may process technical logs for hosting and security.

We do not sell your personal information. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

International processing

These providers may process information in countries outside your own, including outside the UK or European Economic Area. Their locations and transfer arrangements depend on the provider and service. The linked policies describe their practices. Contact us to ask about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry. Where applicable law requires safeguards for a transfer we arrange, those safeguards must be in place.

5. Cookies and external services

The website code does not set its own cookies or use analytics, advertising pixels or browser storage. Google Fonts is loaded from Google when a page opens, so technical connection information is sent to Google.

Submitting the form takes you to FormSubmit, which may use cookies and a CAPTCHA for security. WhatsApp is contacted when you follow its link. These services have their own privacy and cookie practices; they are not embedded analytics tools on this website.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking third-party services may affect form submission or external features. The website will use a fallback font if external fonts cannot load.

6. How long information is kept

We keep enquiry and correspondence information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Relevant criteria include whether an enquiry remains active, whether it becomes an order, any ongoing service or dispute, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Different records may therefore be kept for different periods.

FormSubmit states that its submission archive retains submissions for 30 days. This is separate from copies delivered to our email inbox. You can ask us about retention or request deletion using the contact details below.

Keeping information secure

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Send only what is necessary for your enquiry and use the HTTPS version of the website. If you believe information has been sent to us in error or exposed, contact us promptly.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies and the basis for processing, you may request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of use or a portable copy. Some rights are subject to conditions and exceptions.

Right to object: you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also object to direct marketing at any time.

To make a request, email info@academicmentorhub.com. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. We will respond within the period required by applicable law, normally one month for UK GDPR requests, subject to permitted extensions.

If you have concerns, you may contact us first, but you do not have to do so before complaining to a regulator. Where UK data protection law applies, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). You may also contact the relevant authority in your country.

8. Younger visitors

If you are under 18, involve a parent or guardian before sharing personal information or requesting a paid service. If a child has provided information that should not have been collected, a parent or guardian can contact us to request a review and deletion where appropriate.

9. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or our information practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be brought to your attention where required.
